"Dutchess County Regt."
Dedicated September 17, 1889
"The ladies of the county gave us our flags, caused the banners to be beautifully painted: and, after carrying them through storms of fire, riddled with bullets and both shafts shattered"...... "We have them here - rent, tattered, battle-scarred and faded- on he spot where we stood so many years ago."
"Now"
Its interesting to note the same rock formations between the "then" and 'now" pictures in front of the monument.

Veterans of the 150th New York Infantry stand in front of their monument during the July, 1913 Gettysburg reunion. This Gettysburg Souvenir Card was was presented to the veterans by the seven surviving officers of the regiment.
The key to the members standing in front of the monument in 1913.
We can see today where the veterans were standing in July, 1913. In the original image of the veterans, we can see the chiseled angles of the stone in the monument above the heads of several veterans. I have noted these in the above image.
Members of the 150th New York Infantry at the 1913 Gettysburg reunion wear the New York State, 1913 commemoration medal issued to attendees.

Captain Joseph H. Cogswell, A Company
Captain Joseph Cogswell at the monument during the 1913 reunion.
It appears Cogswell's image was added somtime after the reunion.
A bronze plaque notes the killed and wounded of the 150th during the battle of Gettysburg. One name listed under the "Wounded" is Private Talmadge Wood of Company C. In reality, Private Talmadge was wounded in the chest on July 3rd and would die from his wound on July 14, 1863 in Gettysburg. His remains now rest in the Soldier's National Cemetery.
